Hi, I’m Franck, and it’s my pleasure to welcome you. We’re a group of professional filmmakers who launched Tail Slate Studios in Los Angeles in 2014 to help brands and individuals develop and optimize their video marketing strategies.
We’ve got over 10 years of experience in the digital video field and we keep challenging ourselves to provide the highest-possible quality on a daily basis. We mainly operate in L.A. and Switzerland, but our services are available worldwide.
tail slate?
Running a tail slate on a set means the slating occurs at the end of the shot, as opposed to the head. The correct process of tail-slating is to hold the slate upside down, perform the clap, and call out the information. That will then conclude the shot.
We took inspiration from this practice because we never consider a project successful until everyone involved is completely happy with the result. We don’t want our clients to be satisfied with our work; we want them to be stoked.
